THE DAY – CANTINE APERTE (START: 11 AM)
Music, joy, and lots of fun, naturally in the company of the most representative wines of the company, offered in combination with the gastronomic excellences created by the Locanda del Gusto of Palermo, under the supervision of executive chef Tommaso Stancampiano. Casa Vinicola Fazio opens the doors of its Fulgatore Estate for Cantine Aperte 2024, a cult event sponsored by the Wine Tourism Movement, which since ’93 has been accompanying wine tourists and enthusiasts in discovering the territories and wine excellences of the Bel Paese. An opportunity to get to know the landscapes, flavors, and typical productions of the Erice DOC, having fun and sharing a good glass of wine with the large community of wine lovers and wine enthusiasts, amidst plenty of music, guided cellar tours, masterclasses, show cooking, and DJ sets. Artistic direction by Fabrizio Orfeo, owner of Dorian Gray Trapani – The House of Drink & Food.
FOOD & WINE VILLAGE
In collaboration with the Locanda del Gusto, a renowned restaurant in the heart of the historic center of Palermo, a real gastronomic village will be set up in the outdoor spaces adjacent to the entrance of the Estate. Here, with the mural “Soffio Aereo su Fulgatore” created by artist Nicola Pucci framing a unique and refined location, a thematic path will be created, with stands offering expert food-wine pairings created specifically for this special day: from the fried corner accompanied by refined and versatile sparkling wines, produced with the Charmat method, to the corner dedicated to pasta with fresh and fruity whites, up to the meat corner, strictly grilled, paired with soft and elegant reds. Finally, the station dedicated to typical sweets from the Trapani countryside, with cassatelle and cannoli taking center stage, paired with Zy Passito Doc Erice and the historic Petali Moscato Bianco Doc Erice sparkling wine. The historic brand Fontalba will guarantee water service.
GUIDED TOURS
Unique and unforgettable wine sensory experiences, discovering the Trapani countryside, the most vine-yarded province in Europe, among the green and lush vineyards of the Erice DOC, with the Egadi Islands and the temple of Segesta framing a suggestive and charming landscape. From the barrel room to the experimental vineyard, passing through the bottling line, during the guided tours, wine lovers will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the entire production cycle of the company.

MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT (LIVE MUSIC + DJ SET)
An evening of carefree fun and conviviality, enhanced by the background melodies of Elena Adragna and Rubina, accompanied by Alberto Anguzza, a famous trumpet player from Trapani who, as the hours pass, will make way for the current notes of the DJ set. On the turntables, some of the most famous local DJs will alternate, playing hip hop, house, and R&B genres, with carefully selected tracks from international playlists.
